Throughout the week leading up to Mother’s Day the team from Woking Funeral Service visited a local care home each day to present the female residents with a little gift. Ladies at Bernard Sunley, Kingsbury Court and Gracewell of Woking were gifted a primula in a colourful canvas bag.
These hand-delivered gifts are sure to become an annual treat for the Mothers and Grandmothers of these care homes, so much so that the team are already planning next year’s delivery which is sure to include even more recipients.
Funeral Director Caitlin Crispin-Maguire said: ‘The residents and staff alike loved them and we’ve promised to return with gifts for the gentlemen on Father’s Day!’
