Funeral arranger Lorna Foster decorated her window to commemorate Remembrance Day and was able to tell a little of her Grandad Ted’s story.
Lorna’s Grandad was captured in 1942. You will see a print of a racehorse (there’s an explanatory sign about the significance of this relating to Ted’s experience)
The painting of barbed wire set across a sunset with a field and a sunset was painted by Lorna.
Thank you to the West End, Knaphill and Bisley branch of the RBL wo kindly allowed use of one of their official wreaths.
