At Woking Funeral Service, we have been helping local families at one of the most difficult times in their since 1880. The business that became Woking Funeral Service was founded by Mr Henry Ingram at Goldsworth Road. As the longest-established funeral directors in Woking, we bring empathy and experience to support you in planning your loved one’s funeral to meet your individual needs.
Our special relationship with the Shah Jahan Mosque at Woking helps us to provide tailored support in planning a Muslim funeral. Our branches provide accessible Chapels of Rest, and at Woking we can provide a multi-faith wash facility.
Our experienced staff can advise you on every stage of the funeral planning process, offering a range of funeral options with transparent pricing.
Woking Funeral Service also offers an affordable prepaid funeral plan, Choice, which means you can arrange and pay for a funeral in advance, protecting your family from rising costs and uncertainty about your wishes.
If you would like to discuss planning a funeral, or our Choice plan, we can meet you at our Woking or Knaphill branch or we can arrange a home visit. Our teams are available by phone 24 hours a day, so if you need anything please don’t hesitate to call your local branch.
Supporting our local communities
Our staff at Woking Funeral Service are recruited from the local community, and understand the importance of providing the personalised service each family needs after the loss of a loved one.
Our commitment to the local community extends to supporting a range of fundraising activities. Every year we take part in the Woking Hospice Dragon Boat Race, in Memory of Kris Cook, and we hold an annual Memorial Service in December. We support many of the nursing homes and churches in Woking, providing raffle prizes for summer fetes and Christmas events.
